I undertake work in all aspects of painting and decorating, this includes interior and exterior work, for both domestic and commercial clients. I work with the minimal amount of fuss or intrusion, taking a huge amount of time and care to ensure your property and belongings are treated with the utmost respect.

Listening carefully to what the customer wants is key to me achieving the right result. For those customers who are not sure what they want I am happy to suggest ideas of what colours and finish would work best for them.

Exterior & Interior Painting

Interior and exterior paint will over time become tired looking; dirty hand prints, air pollution and just general wear and tear will all have their effects. Eventually this can also have an impact of the whole fabric of your property, especially externally if materials susceptible to weathering are exposed to the elements. So decorating is not just cosmetic but also an integral part of preserving your home.

Using only the best quality products and meticulous preparation I will endeavour to provide a stress free project undertaken with the minimum of disruption to your household.

Wallpapering

Often a discipline other decorators would avoid at all costs I relish the extra challenges wallpapering brings to a job. One of the main aspects of getting the best result is preparation of the surface, without this any minor blemishes can stand out and ruin the whole appearance. Other important aspects are correct pattern matching and ensuring it is hung perfectly vertical, all of which I will take the time to get 100% right.

Wallpapers come in a huge range of styles, colours and patterns, some bold, some subtle, but whatever is applied they can transform the whole character of a room.

Commercial Properties

I pride myself on getting the basics right. That means turning up on time, with the right equipment and focusing on the job in hand all the way through to completion. I will work to an agreed schedule and not deviate from the quote without your approval.

Often with Commercial jobs it is not convenient to the business for decorating to be carried out during office hours, I am happy to fit my time around yours; working evenings, nights or weekends if that suits you best.

Plastering

A professionally undertaken plastering project provides you with that perfect finish, a smooth flat surface to all internal walls and ceilings. This makes surfaces more suitable for redecoration, painting or tiling.

Whether it is a skim coat on plasterboard, in a new build or extension, or recoating existing walls which have become damaged, I have the skills and training to get the job done to the highest quality.

Project Spotlight

Working alongside other contractors I was commissioned to decorate the Ship Inn at Brancaster throughout during it's recent, stylish refurbishment. This 18th century coastal inn is an important feature in Brancaster offering en-suite bedrooms, four dining areas and a pub bar; all had to be re-imagined to the highest possible standard but in keeping with the history of the building. I was immensely proud to be involved in such a major project.
